Terms and Conditions  

  1. Ticket Allocation  

    1. The Persil Wonder Wash’s Fast Wash and Rave Laundrette event will take place on 1 August 2024 at 1 Kingsland Road, London, E2 8AA.   

    2. There will be 100 tickets available for the Fast Wash event in total  

    3. Tickets will be free of charge.  

    4. Tickets are limited to one ticket per person registering for tickets.  

    5. Ticket holders must be 18 or over. The venue may require proof of identification.  

    6. Event subject to licensing & site permissions approval.  

    7. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.  

  2. Ticket Conditions  

    1. The ticket holders may be filmed / photographed by the Promoter or on our behalf during the festival. By attending the event, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute and make derivative works of such footage / photographs in any media and through any media channel.  

    2. Force Majeure: Promoter shall not be held responsible for failure or delay to perform all or any part of these terms and conditions including whether any event or match takes place, due to any act or omission beyond the control of the Promoter, including but not limited to epidemics, pandemics, flood, fire, earthquake, drought or other natural disaster, war terrorism, civil unrest, riots or threats of war, terrorism, civil unrest or riots, any action taken by a governmental or public authority of any kind (including not granting a consent, exemption, approval or clearance), an event of national significance (including any day of national mourning) or any other events, which could not be predicted, controlled, avoided or overcome by the Promoter.  

    3. Responsibility is not accepted for tickets lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.  

    4. [Only assistance animals will be allowed access onto the site.]  

    5. Use of the tickets is subject to the terms and conditions on the tickets and the regulations in force at the applicable venue. The tickets are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative in whole or in part unless otherwise stated above.  

    6. The tickets may not be resold under any circumstances. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable, and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the venue.  

    7. Ticket bookings will be processed by Unilever.  

    8. The ticket holders will not be allowed to bring food and drink onto the site. Any food and drink brought by ticket holders will be disposed of at the entrance. Please email ukicare@unilever.com if there are concerns around this policy.  

    9. By booking tickets, all persons booking will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this event and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. The personal data processed in relation to the tickets will be governed by the Unilever Privacy Policy Privacy Notice | Unilever Legal (unilevernotices.com)  

    10. These terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues.  

Event Details  

  1. Self-Service Facility  

    1. Persil Wonder Wash™’s Fast Wash and Rave Laundrette is a self-service laundrette. Customers are responsible for operating the machines and handling their laundry items.  

    2. Laundrette staff are there to support however will not sort, wash, dry, or fold any laundry items for customers.  

    3. All laundry detergent products are provided free of charge for use in the laundrette. Customers are responsible for checking packaging for any allergens if they have them.  

  2. Usage of Machines  

    1. Customers are responsible for ensuring they correctly operate the washing and drying machines.  

    2. Instructions for using the machines are posted prominently within the laundrette. If you have any questions, please ask a staff member for assistance before starting your wash.  

    3. Machines are provided for use with 15-minute (small load – maximum 1.5kg) cycle only. Please do not deviate from this or use alternative cycles. In the event that alternative cycle is selected, Laundrette staff will cancel your wash.  

   5. Liability for Damage  

  1. Persil Wonder Wash™’s Fast Wash and Rave Laundrette is not responsible for any damage to, loss of, or theft of items brought into the laundrette.  

    1. Any damage to items during the washing, drying, or handling process is at the owner's own risk.  

    2. This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by incorrect use of machines, overloading machines, or use of inappropriate detergents for the specific garment.  

    3. It is customers responsibility to check care labels washing instructions prior to adding clothing to the washing machine.  

    4. It is recommended to wash dark colours separately and check colour fastness before washing.   

  2. Machine Malfunctions  

    1. In the event of a machine malfunction, please notify a staff member immediately.  

    2. Persil Wonder Wash™’s Fast Wash and Rave Laundrette will not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from machine malfunctions, including but not limited to, incomplete washing or drying cycles.  

  3. Personal Belongings  

    1. Customers are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.  

    2. Persil Wonder Wash™ will not be liable for any personal items lost, stolen, or damaged within the premises.  

  4.    Conduct within the Laundrette  

  5. Please be considerate to other customers and staff.  

  6. Take care when moving between rooms. If you have any accessibility issues, please alert a member of staff for assistance.  

  7. Alcohol will only be served to customers over 18 years of age. We operate a "Challenge 21" policy; please be prepared to show valid ID if requested.  

  8. Any form of disruptive behaviour, vandalism, or misuse of the facilities will result in immediate removal from the premises and may be reported to the authorities.  

   9. Photography and Videography  

  • Please be aware that photography and videography may take place within the laundrette.  

  • By entering and using the facilities, you consent to your image being captured and used for promotional purposes by Persil Wonder Wash (a Unilever brand) in accordance with Section   

  10. Hygiene and Cleanliness  

  • Customers are expected to maintain cleanliness within the laundrette.  

  • Please dispose of any waste materials appropriately and leave the machines and surrounding areas clean after use.  

   11. Hours of Operation  

  • Persil Wonder Wash™’s Fast Wash and Rave Laundrette operates during the posted hours. Please complete your washing and drying within these times.  

  • Any items left in the machines or the premises outside of operating hours will not be the responsibility of Persil Wonder Wash™.  

   12. Amendments  

  • Persil reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be posted within the laundrette and on our website.  

  • By using our facilities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. Thank you for choosing Persil Wonder Wash.
